Mustang Fever, by ROARING FEVER, impressive winner at Aqueduct
11/20/08
Mustang Fever, a 2YO daughter of freshman sire ROARING FEVER, broke her maiden in convincing style in only her second lifetime start on November 13th, at a soggy Aqueduct. The post time favorite in the 7 furlong maiden claiming event, Mustang Fever broke well and stalked the early pace, before rallying down the lane to win by a widening 3 lengths in a very professional performance.
Trained by John Parisella and ridden by Richard Migliore, the homebred filly has improved her lifetime record to 2-1-0-1, and brought home earnings of $13,900 for breeders/owners Saul and Max Kupferberg. She is the third winner for her sire ROARING FEVER, a regally-bred son of leading sire Storm Cat.
